Greetings fellow Mouse Fans and Happy New Year!
2014 will bring many exciting changes to the Disney Parks and Resorts around the world. Let's start off with the Magic Kingdom!
I cannot WAIT for Walt Disney World's newest coaster – Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – to open in Spring 2014. The ride vehicle is unlike any other at Walt Disney World… the seating is on a cradle-type pivot which allows your car to swing side to side while traveling! The ride is described as family-style so I'm not anticipating any major thrills or chills but it sounds like great fun along the lines of Big Thurnder Mountain.
Also debuting in Spring 2014, the Magic Kingdom's new Parade, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. The floats are inspired by the stories told in New Fantasyland and are reportedly some of the largest parade floats ever seen in a Magic Kingdom parade!
Next week: What else is new in 2014 at Disney?
Be well and make magic wherever you go!
