Extra Magic Hours are a big perk to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort! Each day, one theme park opens either one hour early or stays open late exclusively for Walt Disney World Resort guests. Extra time in the parks means more time to enjoy your favorite attractions with lower crowds.
Beginning in January 2013, the evening Extra Magic Hours at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks will change to two hours after the park closes. Currently evening Extra Magic Hours are for three hours after the park of the day closes. Morning Extra Magic Hours are unchanged – one hour prior to the park of the day opening.
