Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
The Disney Parks Blog shared some new information on Be Our Guest, the new restaurant opening in time for the holidays in the new Fantasyland. (Sadly, they did NOT share the official opening date or the exact date when guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations, though they did narrow this down to "Late August."
Chef Michael Deardoff has returned from a stint at Aulani to open Be Our Guest, which will deature three distinct dining rooms. Lunch will be counter service – with a twist. Guests will order and pay at a console, then their food will be delivered by a server. On china, no less! The lunch menu features a French bistro flair with Tuna Nicoise salad, a Croque Monsieur sandwich, pomme frites (french fries!), etc.
Dinner will be a traditional table service meal, again with a French influence. I'm already salivating over the Sauteed Shrimp and Scallops in Puff Pastry with creamy Lobster Sauce!
