Good news this morning for military families planning a trip to Walt Disney World! Disney has extended the dates of the Armed Forces Salute ticket offer and room only discount through September 2012. (Blackout dates apply.) This offer is available to Active and Retired U.S. Military personnel.
While Shades of Green is an excellent option for military families, Shades of Green does not participate in with Disney's Magical Express Shuttle Service, or offer guests the ability to add the Disney Dining Plan. But guests who choose to stay at a Walt Disney World resort using this Armed Forces Salute offer can take advantage of all the perks available to WDW resort guests AND have the option to add the Dining Plan to their reservation while using their special Armed Forces Salute park passes.
