Sara’s Snippets – February 16, 2011

Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!

So what else didn't I love about the Dream? I hate to say it but I did not care for Animator's Palate. While I love the decor of the room from the Mickey chairs to the warm wood tones and animation theme to the book shelves around the room, I found a big disconnect between the room and the "show" – a digital Crush that swims from screen to screen and interacts with guests during dinner. For one thing, Finding Nemo was a Pixar film and so was digitally animated. For another – why only that one movie? And what exactly does Crush as a character have to do with animation? While the interaction was fun, I found it a little distracting.

Now, had the theme of the dining room been Finding Nemo or even Under The Sea (how funny would Crush and Sebastina from Little Mermaid be together?!) I would probably have loved Crush. But in it's current context, it simply didn't make sense to me. I would love to know what others thought!
