Ok, so now I’ve convinced you that you need trip insurance. Which one to choose? Not to sound like a borken record but this is another area where a travel planner can be helpful. Disney does offer trip insurance but you may be able to obtain better coverage at a lower cost through another provider. Some things to consider when choosing:
1) Are there any pre-existing conditions in your travel party?
2) Do you live in an area where Mother Nature regualrly wreaks havoc with travel plans?
3) Are you planning on adding to your family in the near future? (This especially comes in to play with cruises when women more than 24 weeks pregnant are not allowed to cruise on many cruise lines.)
Compare coverage and cost and choose wiselt. Also choose quickly as some policies require you to purchase insurance within days of placing your deposit.
