Those who have been visiting Walt Disney World for a few decades (cough-like me-cough) may remember the Jolly Holidays Dinner Show which ran in Disney's Contemporary Resort inside the Fantasia Ballroom during the Christmas season from 1992 – 1998. It featured a grand buffet full of holiday favorites and over 100 performers plus Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Chip’n’Dale. The Country Bears dropped by and even the hippos and ostriches from Fantasia appeared in a shortened version of The Nutcracker Suite, plus many other holiday characters. It was a great time and I miss it every year. Now, it looks like we can finally dine with our favorite classic Disney characters at Walt Disney World again. It may not be full of big production numbers, but it looks like a great way to ring in the holidays at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
