Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
2014 is going to be busy at Animal Kingdom, but most of the changes will be behind the scenes. The Festival of the Lion King show (my personal favorite!) is being relocated to a brand new theater in Africa. Camp Minnie-Mickey has closed for good, to make room for AVATAR at Disney's Animal Kingdom, which will be opening in a few years.
AVATAR at Disney's Animal Kingdom will take guests on a journey to the mythical world of Pandora. And most exciting – as part of the park's expansion, a nighttime spectacular that sounds similar to World of Color from Disney California Adventure! While this is all in the future, 2-14 will be very busy for the Imagineers at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
