Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
Any other food truck fans? I love a good food truck! I watch Food Truck Race on Food Network. In fact, I'm still thinking about a breakfast burrito a friend brought me from a truck outside the Anaheim Convention Center at the D23 Expo! (It had French Fries in it. FRENCH FRIES people! In a breakfast burrito!!)
So imagine my excitement this morning when I saw an announcement on the Disney Parks Blog this morning that Food Trucks are coming to Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort! There will be four trucks, each representing different Disney Parks from around the globe. The first will arrive late this fall!
The Enchanted Fare truck will serve favorites from Disney parks around the globe, including the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland. The World Showcase of Flavors truck will feature items from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The Superstar Catering truck will feature "Hollywood"-inspired meatball creations. The Namaste Cafe will feature Indian-inspired cuisine served with Naan bread.
The trucks will be owned and operated by Walt Disney Food & Beverage. It will be great to have another quick service dining option at Downtown Disney! (Now if only Pleasure Island were still open… those trucks would make a KILLING at closing time!)
