Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
I am in the process of planning my first Mother & Son trip to Walt Disney World. This will be the first time that it is just the two of us! My son is 9 and is almost as big a Disney nut as I am so this should be fun.
This will be a short trip for us – just three nights – so I want to make the most of our time down there. The good news is that Ryan is willing and eager to help plan! I encourage clients to involve their children in the planning process for their upcoming trips.
A guidebook can be a great way for the entire family to identify things that interest them! My son has his own copy of PassPorter Walt Disney World but actually, sharing a copy can be even more helpful. Give each family member a different colored highlighter and have them highlight which attractions, shows, or restaurants interest them. When you find items with multiple colors – add that to your "must do" list!
Coming up next week – more tips to get kids involved in the planning process!
Be well and make magic wherever you go!
