Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
As I mentioned in yesterday's snippet, I am a die hard holiday junkie. But my real obsession is Christmas tree ornaments! I have hundreds that I have collected on various Disney trips over the years. Even my tree topper is Tinker Bell! And yes, I am a tiny bit OCD about them… Cinderella ornaments all in one section, Tinker Bell in another, etc, etc.
So needless to say one of my favorite places in Walt Disney World is the Disney Days of Christmas shop in Downtown Disney. But right now, as part of the Limited Time Magic Christmas in July celebration, ornaments can be found all over Walt Disney World.
So here is my number one tip for successful ornament shopping… leave the shipping to Disney! When you purchase your ornaments, tell the Cast Member at check out that you would like them shipped. For a moderate fee, they will wrap them up and ship them to your home. But the best part is that if any break in transit – they will replace them! I have had two casualties over the years – a Tinker Bell who lost her wings and a Mickey Ear globe that arrived in pieces. One quick phone call to the phone number of the receipt and new ones were shipped out right away!
So shop to your heart's content, deck the halls and leave the shipping to Disney. Merry Christmas (in July)!
