Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
It happened again yesterday. It happens at least once a week! When discussing an upcoming Disney trip with a client, they say, "We definitely want to see the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Harry Potter!" Me:"That sounds great! Harry Potter is over at Universal Islands of Adventure, which is an entirely different place from Walt Disney World, but we can definitely make sure we get you over there." This is usually followed by a moment of stunned silence, which I fill with explanations of the difference between Disney and Universal, the distance between the two, and how to possibly make a day trip, etc.
But at the end of the day, I usually try to encourage clients to make Universal Orlando it's own, separate vacation!
