Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
As we enter mid-December, crowd levels will begin to rise at Walt Disney World. Guests visting Walt Disney World beginning next week and through New Year's can expect higher than normal volume in the Magic Kingdom especially, thanks to the new Fantasyland!
When visiting during the busy holiday season, planning becomes a critical part of vacation preparation. Sites such as TouringPlans.com and their Lines App can be a great resource for deciding which park to vist on what day. I highly recommend deciding on a general itinerary prior to your trip, and then a list of "must dos" in every park. Knowing the park hours and which parks have Extra Magic Hours each day can really maximize your touring!
Proper use of the FASTPASS system can be a lifesaver at a time when the standby line for popular attractions can excedd 90 minutes! For great tips on making the most of FASTPASS, check out http://allears.net/tp/fastpass.htm
The holiday season can be a great time for repeat visitors to take advantage of some of non-attraction-based experiences. Backstage tours, golf, sleigh rides, the Richard Petty Driving Experience, and more are available and are the perfect complement to the four major theme parks.
Your MEI-Travel and Mouse Fan Travel Planner along with our partners are the perfect resources to help you make the most of your Disney vacation. But the best advice I can give is, "Do less, enjoy more. You can't do everything, so don't make yourself nuts trying!"
Be well and make magic wherever you go!
