Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
I am back from Disneyland and have almost adjusted back to East Coast time. I had the most incredible time on this trip thanks to Beci Mahnken, Annette Owens, the MEI & Mouse Fan Travel Team and our incredible magic makers/trainers from Disney.
This was the most time I have spent in Disneyland and so it should come as no surprise that this was a defining trip for me. For the first time, I feel like I "get it." I've always liked Disneyland but was loyal to my first park, Walt Disney World. In my slightly condesecending way, I thought those who preferred Disneyland either simply had not been to Walt Disney World yet or were overly sentimental about Disneyland being the original park.
Well call me sentimental but now I am one of those people! This trip I had a chance to truly grasp how personal and intimate Disneyland is. Yes, it's smaller but in many ways that is an advantage over Walt Disney World!
I'll be going in to details about my trip over the coming weeks but siffice it to say, I'm a convert.
