Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
"There's 104 days of summer vacation and school comes along just to end it.." If you don't know the song, you either a) don't have children under the age of 16 or b) have never turned on the Disney Channel.
Phineas & Ferb are the undisputed Kings of the Disney Channel crowd (and their parents) for funny, family-friendly programming with humor that is perfect for kids and just enough jokes aimed over their heads directly at their parents.
And with summer coming to an end, Phineas & Ferb have figured out a way to extend the fun. Beginning September 1, 2012, the boys of summer are coming to Downtown Disney in a brand new "complimentary augmented reality offering!" (For all of you who just said, "Huh?!", that was my reaction too. Hang in there with me, turns out it's pretty cool…)
The experience will allow guests to interact with the gang from the Tri-State Area in 20 different scenarios. Guests will be on a platform, projected on to a screen above where they appear to be in the action. And, of course, when you are done, you can purchase a souvenir photo of your experience along with other Phineas & Ferb merchandise.
The experience is currently scheduled to be available until December 1, 2012. Hours are 2:00 pm – 9:30 pm daily.
