Happy first day of school! At least it is for my son who started second grade today. He was supposed to start yesterday but thanks to Hurricane Irene, the start of school was postponed.
Irene did some serious damage here in New England and stranded many of my clients in Orlando. Now many of them were happy to be "stuck" at Walt Disney World for a few extra days but most importantly, they all had trip insurance which helped with trip interruption, travel delays, etc. Coverage varies but trip insurance may offer coverage if your flights are cancelled or, in one case, the AutoTrain you planned to take home is cancelled!
Just another argument for trip insurance. Your vacation is an investment, protect it like you would any other!
