A couple of news tidbits for you today… The Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will close for 18 months beginning on September 19, 2011. From the Orlando Sentinel: "We are in the early stages of an expansion project at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa," Disney spokesman Bryan Malenius said Friday. The spa will "temporarily close this fall as part of a planned renovation." Let the speculation commence…
Also, the Grand Gatherings Experiences offered exclusively to groups of 8 or more people are being discontinued. These Experiences such as the Good Morning Breakfast at Tony's Town Square, the International Dinner & Illuminatiosn Dessert Party and the Safari Dinner will end on January 28, 2012.
