Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
To paraphrase Biloxi Blues by Neil Simon, "It's hot. It's darn hot. It's like Florida hot!" Summer is Florida is no laughing matter and the heat should definitely be a consideration when preparing for a summer trip to Walt Disney World!
Rule #1: Sunblock, sunblock, sunblock. Unless you are a Florida native, the sun is likely going to be stronger than you are used to. Start wearing SPF every day prior to your trip to give it a chance to build up in your skin and continue to use it during your trip. Don't forget to reapply periodically and after swimming!
Rule # 2: Water is key. Dehydration can make you feel miserable and even make you very sick. It is critical to stay hydrated during your trip. Drink more water than you think you need! This is particularly important for kids and seniors.
More rules to beating the summer heat tomorrow!
Be well and make magic wherever you go!
