So you've let Disney know that you or a loved one will be celebrating a birthday on your vacation. Now what? Well for guests wanting to go that extra mile, there are a few different options.
You can special order a cake to be served at one of your table service meals by calling the cake hotline at (407) 827-2253. Cake prices start at $21.50 for a 6-inch round cake and go up from there. The cakes are fairly basic but if you are dining or staying at a Resort that offers Private Dining, you may have more luck getting something custom made. (Private Dining at the Contemporary can also deliver to Magic Kingdom restaurants. Call Private Dining at (407) 824-1000.
Want the birthday person to feel special even in their resort room? Room decorations can be ordered from the WDW Florist. They can also deliver gift baskets and flowers to your resort room. Call them at 407-WDW-GIFT for more information and more customization options than the web site offers. (Note that balloons cannot be delivered to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the safety of the animals.)
So go ahead – celebrate! Adn yes, you can still celebrate even if you are not at Disney on your actual birthday. 🙂
