Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
There are only two topics being discussed in the Disney blogopshere this week – the new details on the largest expansion to Fantasyland in Walt Disney World history and the Christening of the Disney Dream! So I am going to tackle one topic today and the other tomorrow. 🙂
Fantasyland first! Snow White's Scary Adventure Fans are in mourning this morning as they learn of the attractions planned demise. The attraction is being replaced by a Princess Meet & Greet area called Princess Fairytale Hall. But all is not lost for fans of the Seven Dwarfs as they are getting top billing in a new coaster – The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! The coaster will feature first-of-its-kind ride technology which will allow the ride vehicles to sway side to side while the move along the track.
Goofy's Barnstormer is getting a new storyline featuring Goofy as "The Great Goofini" and Dumbo is doubling his trunk space by adding a second carousel! But that's not all! Beauty and the Beast fans will get their fix with Enchanted Tales with Belle as well as a new castle for Fantasyland – Beast's Castle – home to Be Our Guest restaurant. (Please ignore the giddy school girl giggles coming from this die-hard Beauty & The Beast fan!)
Last but no least is Under The Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. This ride through adventure features music from the movie.
