Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
Personal aside: Happy Gotcha Day Ryan! Our son arrived in the US from Korea five years ago today. And happy birthday to my father in law. Talk about a birthday present that year!
Ok, back to your regularly scheduled travel blog…
TSA (Transportation Security Administration) has implemented a new program – Secure Flight. Airlines are now required to to ask passengers thier full legal name as it appears on their government issue photo ID that they will be traveling with. Sounds simple, right? Not so fast! Some people only use a drivers license when traveling in the US. But check your drivers license – does it list your first name, middle initial and last name? Then if this is what you will be using as ID, this is how you need to book your plane tickets.
I always use my passport, no matter where I am traveling, so I need to use my full name – first name, middle name (not initial) and last name. So you need to decide when you are booking your ticket what ID you will be using to check in!
Up tomorrow: More info on Secure Flight! (If you can’t wait, check out: www.tsa.gov/secureflight)
Be well and make magic wherever you go!
