Well, we’ve upgraded to the latest version of our Blog Software, and predictably these things never seem to go the way you expect. So I took the site down, posted the "back in 60 minutes" sign and started backing things up and copying new files to the server. In the middle of my upload our host started their scheduled maintenance of our server. Silly me, not checking that. So in the middle of my upgrade, my server was down for 30 minutes.
