7:05 Chicago time. One step closer to Barcelona. We have no free wireless here, so no actual post. I’ll just stick this one in the hopper and post it when we get Wifi access again. Perhaps in London, perhaps not until the hotel in Barcelona. The security lines in Chicago have been traumatic. We landed here, and had to change to the international terminal and go back thru security.
Going thru Security at O’Hare (as it turns out) is not your friend. It took us about 60 minutes to get thru the line, and then just as we made it to the head of the line we got stopped while an entire 747 crew was ushered thru right in front of us. Another 10 minute delay. Finally we got thru and into the British Airways first class lounge (didn’t I mention that we spent every mile we’ve ever earned to go first class this flight?).
So the first thing I get to do in the BA first class lounge is make Beci a cup of coffee. So just to watch the “little kid sucking on a lemon” face she would make I didn’t put any sugar in her cappuccino.
Now I’m up against the time limit again. Our 777 is just pulling up to the gate and Beci is going to start pushing me to pack up so we can go stand in line (we’ve got seats… I’m not sure why we need to be the first people on board). More from London and the spa I hear they have there.

Does she really make that lemon pucker face? Isn’t O’Hare a gem! I guess since nearly everyone in the world seems to go thru this airport 60 minutes for security is not so bad, but they are more thorough with checking things at least…..Lounge looks nice….
